Sustainability and Environmental Conservation at Vedanta Academy:


The Vedanta Academy prides itself on its commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation, making it a unique and eco-friendly campus.

Our campus stands out for its vast green cover and eco-friendly atmosphere. With over 400 indigenous and fruit-bearing trees, we provide a lush and natural environment for our students and staff to thrive in.

We have implemented an excellent rainwater harvesting system, allowing us to efficiently collect and utilize rainwater for various purposes, reducing our dependency on external water sources and promoting water conservation.

A prominent feature of our campus is a large traditional well, which serves as a vital water source for the entire campus community. This well reflects our dedication to preserving traditional water sources and ensuring access to clean water for all.

To minimize our carbon footprint and embrace renewable energy sources, we have installed solar-powered lamps across the campus. These lamps not only reduce our reliance on grid electricity but also contribute to sustainable energy practices.

Furthermore, we take pride in our in-house 'goshala' (cowshed), where we raise cows and produce pure milk for our students. This initiative not only promotes self-sufficiency but also emphasizes our respect for nature and animal welfare.
